Homeless Missionary Group | Homeless Florida

The Homeless Missionary Group will develop Human ECO Life Parks, and help the Homeless with information from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Florida State Information.

Homelessness is a significant issue in Florida, as in many other states across the United States. According to the 2020 report to Congress, there were approximately 28,328 homeless individuals in Florida on a single night in January 2020.

The state of Florida has implemented several initiatives to address homelessness. For example, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation provides funding for affordable housing and support services for homeless individuals and families. The state also has a statewide Continuum of Care program, which brings together local organizations and stakeholders to address homelessness in their communities.

In addition to state-level initiatives, many local organizations in Florida are working to address homelessness. These organizations provide various services, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, job training, and mental health and addiction support services.

If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness in Florida, resources are available to help. For information and assistance, you can contact the National Coalition for the Homeless or the National Alliance to End Homelessness. You can also contact your local Continuum of Care program or local homeless services provider for more information about available resources in your community.

According to the Florida Coalition to End Homelessness Florida has the third largest population in the U.S., with 25,810 in 2022 all the other estimates I could find were much higher
