Homeless Leaders
While homelessness is a difficult and complex issue, there are also leaders and advocates who are working to make a difference for those experiencing homelessness. Here are a few examples:
Nan Roman - President and CEO of the National Alliance to End Homelessness, an organization that works to prevent and end homelessness in the United States.
Becky Kanis Margiotta - Co-founder of The Billions Institute, a consulting firm that works with organizations to help them address complex social issues, including homelessness.
Rosanne Haggerty - Founder and CEO of Community Solutions, an organization that works to find innovative solutions to homelessness in communities across the United States.
Mark Horvath - Founder of Invisible People, an organization that uses social media to give a voice to people experiencing homelessness and to raise awareness about the issue.
Lloyd Pendleton - Former Director of the Utah Homeless Task Force, Pendleton was instrumental in implementing Utah's Housing First program, which has been successful in reducing homelessness in the state.
These individuals and many others are working tirelessly to address the issue of homelessness and to provide support and resources to those who are experiencing it.
